Mandela Day, celebrated annually on July 18th, embodies this spirit by encouraging individuals and organizations worldwide to dedicate 67 minutes of their time to community service—a tribute to Nelson Mandela's 67 years of service to humanity. This Mandela Day 2024, we invited our employees and partners to join us in making a meaningful impact.
Participating in Mandela Day aligns perfectly with our commitment to corporate social responsibility and community engagement. It provides a unique opportunity for us to give back to the communities that support us, foster team spirit among our employees, and demonstrate our dedication to making a tangible difference in society. By participating, we not only honour the legacy of Nelson Mandela but also strengthen our relationships with stakeholders and contribute to building a more sustainable future.
This Mandela Day, Hyder Properties planned several initiatives designed to maximize our impact and support causes that matter to us. We volunteered our time and resources to organizations in and around the Midrand area and participated in helping to refurbish and repaint establishments, donated food vouchers as well as materials such as heaters and carport coverings to help keep our community warm this winter!
